This reminds me of the book by Greg Palast in the 2000s called The Best Democracy Money Can Buy. That was about US politics being funded by mega donors. The UK is going the same road. If allowed to continue no good will cone from it. Well not for the ordinary folk. The rich 1% will love it. Money well spent they'll say.
