"Blue Labour" really are everything I've always hated about the party.

Thank you again for your brave work, Peter. When are you going to release the names of the journalists who were 'investigated'? And why was McSweeney doing this?

Thanks once again for your diligence in explaining all this.

I am sure you are aware of Peter Oborne’s political diary dated February 2026 which adds some further context and helps to join the dots, particularly as it relates to investigative journalist, Paul Holden, who has recently published a book called ‘Fraud’.

Perhaps it is no timely for our MSM to review the book.

Full disclosure, I haven’t read Holden’s book yet.

Well worth it. The Fraud website provides an impressive, extensive ‘End Notes’

Has he heard of democracy.

You might be a big deal n the political Party but he has not got a mandate to transfer that to the country

He needs to learn accountability

Thanks you Peter for your work, it remains essential to be able to see truth behind the lies. Our government becomes less and less believable.

It's a pity that the media didn't pick up on this sooner. If they paid any attention to our paper, The National, they would have known about it last September. It only came out widely when journalists from a long-established newspaper's own journalists were attacked. Lesser mortals didn't matter.

I’m not sure there is an issue here. These kinds of thing are not common in the commercial world. Any leader wants to understand their enemies. This is just one way to do that and then figure out how to neutralise any potential impact of bad news.

Also, isn’t the headline misleading? If I’ve read the timeline correctly, McSweeney had no involvement and presumably no influence over initiating or executing against the PO with the PR outfit - which of course is controversial. Just as Carol Cadwalladr is seen as a controversial activist journalist. So again, what’s the issue?

If McSweeney knew,KKKeir did as well. If he didn't, then he's not fit to be PM
