Perhaps one other area to be examined is the approved list of government contractors. Last time I looked Fujitsu was still included.

A public move in the right direct. However, I predict she will be blocked at every turn when attempting to investigate the deepest UK state corruption by those hiding behind the well worn get out of gaol free card for all of UK’s VIP criminals in high places over past decades. Protecting ‘national security’.

This unpleasant woman should not be anywhere near government. Her record in Islington on the care homes abuse story and her treatment of Jeremy Corbyn as Labour leader should make her ineligible to run anything. Including a bath.

She has a useful background as former Chair of the Public Accounts Committee, but what did she actually achieve in that role. I remember a PAC enquiry in 2014 which revealed how ‘the big four’ recipients of outsourcing contracts were running rings around the Government’s Chief Procurement Officer, on his own admission, but as far as I am aware, they didn’t suffer from their history of defrauding the state and still flourish.

I get the feeling that people are impressed with her "nippy" attitude (Scottish term) and that she doesn't appear to suffer fools gladly, but calling Corbyn a "f*cking anti-Semite) is not in my humble opinion a sign of someone with either judgement or enough smarts to tackle any job more taxing than, say, completing a two piece jigsaw. Which I believe she might struggle with. Get her tae! As Peter can explain we say in Scotland...
