Peter and Seth I have a very basic thought. How are the majority of the voters expected to know what side the British political party's are on? You guys talk about money that most of us voters will never see in a life time. Even the donators giving £8K to attend a conversation with the party leaders is preposterous to us. I know they spend this money on advertising and future business if the party wins, but as we all know ads lie. Trump has a cult system gong, do your think the British voter is as cult-ishly leaning as Americans are? I've lived in Canada for over 40 years and visited the States many times and found huge differences between the 2 countries in spite of them sharing a border. I've moved back to the UK and was stunned that the politics is copying the American style. Farage was a ridiculous person to me but so was Boris and yet people still got conned into voting for him. I'm afraid that because Farage is borrowing trumps style that we may end up with a distruction of our way of life where we would become a disrespectful society like America is now!
